တိဗက္ေျမတြင္ တရားမွ်တျခင္း ကင္းမဲ့မႈကို ခုခံတုိက္ပဲြ၀င္ေနၾကသည့္ တိဗက္လူမ်ိဳး ဗုဒၶဘာသာ၀င္မ်ားႏွင့္ အတူတကြ ခိုင္မာစြာ ရပ္တည္လွ်က္ရွိသည့္ ျငိမ္းခ်မ္းစြာ က်င့္သံုးေဆာက္တည္ေနၾကေသာ ျမန္မာ ဗုဒၶဘာသာ ရဟန္းေတာ္မ်ားအား မွားယြင္းစြာ ရႈံ႕ခ်ထားသည့္ အရွင္ဘုရား၏ မၾကာျမင့္မီက မွတ္ခ်က္စကား မ်ားကို ဖတ္ရႈရသည့္အတြက္ တပည့္ေတာ္တို႕ ျမန္မာ ဗုဒၶဘာသာ ရဟန္းမ်ားသည္ မ်ားစြာမွပင္ ၀မ္းနည္းၾကရပါသည္ ဘုရား။

We, Burmese Buddhist Monks, are very sad to read your recent comments about wrongly condemning fellow peaceful Burmese Buddhist Monks who stood firmly together with Tibetan Buddhists in fighting against the injustice in Tibet land.

တပည့္ေတာ္တို႕ ထင္မွတ္သည္မွာ အရွင္ဘုရားသည္ လူပုဂၢိဳလ္ အဖဲြ႕အစည္း အခ်ိဳ႕ ႏွင့္ တစ္ဘက္ သတ္ ေရးသားထုတ္ျပန္ထားသည့္ အစြန္းေရာက္မ်ားႏွင့္ အခြင့္အေရးသမားမ်ား၏ လွည့္ျဖားလိမ္ညာ ထားေသာ ၀ါဒျဖန္႕မႈမ်ား အေပၚတြင္ အေျချပဳထားသည့္ သတင္းမီဒီယာ အစီရင္ခံခ်က္မ်ားက လမ္းလဲႊလိုက္ေအာင္ ျပဳျခင္းကို ခံရေတာ္မူေလသည္ဟူ၍ ျဖစ္ပါသည္ ဘုရား။

We think you are misled by some people / groups and one sided media reports based on fabricated propaganda of extremists and opportunists.

အရွင္ဘုရားသည္ ခြင့္လႊတ္ျခင္း၊ သည္းခံျခင္း၊ ေမတၱာထားျခင္းတို႕ႏွင့္ စပ္လ်ဥ္း၍ ဗုဒၶရွင္ေတာ္ဘုရားက တပည့္ေတာ္တို႕အား သြန္သင္ဆံုးမေတာ္ေသာ တရားေတာ္မ်ားႏွင့္ ပတ္သက္၍ ေဖာ္ျပေတာ္မူရာတြင္ လံုး၀ဥႆံု မွန္ကန္ပါသည္ ဘုရား။ တပည့္ေတာ္တို႕သည္ လူမ်ိဳး ဘာသာ မေရြး လူသားမ်ား အျဖစ္ မည္သည့္ အၾကမ္းဖက္မႈကို မဆို ျပစ္တင္ေ၀ဘန္ရမည္ျဖစ္ျပီး မည္သည့္ ပဋိပကၡအတြက္ မဆို ျငိမ္းခ်မ္းေသာ ေျဖရွင္းခ်က္ ရရွိေရးကို အားေပးလုပ္ေဆာင္ရမည္ ျဖစ္ပါသည္ ဘုရား။

You were absolutely correct in mentioning about what Buddha taught us about forgiveness, tolerance, compassion.We, as human beings regardless of race & religion, must denounce any kinds of violence, and promote peaceful solution for any conflicts.

ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံသည္ (၁၃၅)မ်ိဳးေသာ တိုင္းရင္းသား လူမ်ိဳးႏြယ္ အုပ္စုမ်ားျဖင့္ အာရွတိုက္တြင္ တိုင္းရင္းသား မ်ိဳးႏြယ္စု အမ်ားဆံုး ေနထိုင္လွ်က္ရွိေသာ ႏိုင္ငံမ်ား အနက္ တစ္ခုျဖစ္ပါသည္ ဘုရား။ သမိုင္းေၾကာင္း အရ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံသည္ ကဲြျပားျခားနားေသာ ကိုးကြယ္ယံုၾကည္မႈ အုပ္စုမ်ား အၾကား အျပန္အလွန္ေလးစား မႈျဖင့္ ျငိမ္းခ်မ္းစြာ ယွဥ္တဲြ ေနထုိင္သည့္ စိတ္ရွည္သည္းခံတတ္ေသာ ႏိုင္ငံတစ္ခု ျဖစ္ပါသည္ ဘုရား။ သက္တမ္း ၂၀၀၀ ေက်ာ္ရွိျပီျဖစ္ေသာ ဆူးေလေစတီေတာ္၊ သက္တမ္း ရာေက်ာ္ရွိေသာ ခရစ္ယာန္ ဘုရားရွိခုိးေက်ာင္းႏွင့္ ဗလီ၀တ္ေက်ာင္းတို႕သည္ ရန္ကုန္ျမိဳ႕ေတာ္ခန္းမ ႏွင့္အတူ (ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ၏ အၾကီးဆံုး ျမိဳ႕ေတာ္) ရန္ကုန္ျမိဳ႕ထဲ အရပ္၏ ဗဟုိတြင္ ေဘးခ်င္းယွဥ္လွ်က္ တည္ရွိေနပါသည္ ဘုရား။ ဟိႏၵဴဘာသာေရး ဘုရားေက်ာင္း တစ္ခုသည္လည္း ရန္ကုန္ျမိဳ႕ထဲ အရပ္၌ ထို သမိုင္း၀င္ ဘာသာေရး အေဆာက္အအံုမ်ားအနီးတြင္ ထီးထီးမားမား ရွိေနပါသည္ ဘုရား။

Burma is a most diverse multi ethnic country in Asia with 135 indigenous ethnic groups. Historically Burma is a tolerant country with different faith groups live peacefully side by side with mutual respect. Over 2,000 years old historic Sule Pagoda, over century old Christian Church& Mosque are existing side by side in middle of downtown Rangoon (Burma’s largest city) alongside with Rangoon City Hall. A Hindu Temple is also standing near these historic religious buildings in downtown Rangoon.

မၾကာေသးမီက ျဖစ္ပြားခဲ့ေသာ ေၾကာင္းက်ိဳးဆီေလ်ာ္မႈ ကင္းမဲ့လွသည့္ လူ႕အသိုက္အ၀န္းတို႕အၾကား အၾကမ္းဖက္မႈကို (ျပည္တြင္း ႏွင့္ ျပည္ပ မွ) ဒီမိုကေရစီ ျပဳျပင္ေျပာင္းလဲမႈ လုပ္ငန္းစဥ္၏ ရန္သူမ်ား၊ အခြင့္အေရးသမားမ်ားႏွင့္ အစြန္းေရာက္သမားမ်ားက ေသြးထိုးလႈံ႕ေဆာ္ခဲ့ျခင္း ျဖစ္ပါသည္ ဘုရား။ တပည့္ေတာ္တုိ႕သည္ အၾကမ္းဖက္မႈ ပံုစံေပါင္းစံုကို ျပစ္တင္ရံႈခ်ျပီး အျပန္အလွန္ ယံုၾကည္မႈ ႏွင့္ ျငိမ္းခ်မ္းေသာ လူ႕အဖဲြ႕အစည္း တည္ေဆာက္ေရးကို ေထာက္ခံ အားေပးၾကပါသည္ ဘုရား။

Recent senseless communal violence in Burma was incited by the enemies of democratic reform process, opportunists and extremists (domestic and abroad). We denounce all kinds of violence and encourage building the mutual trust and peaceful society.

မူစလင္ႏွင့္ ဗုဒၶဘာသာ အသိုက္အ၀န္း ႏွစ္ခုလံုးသည္ ေၾကာင္းက်ိဳးဆီေလ်ာ္မႈ ကင္းမဲ့လွေသာ အၾကမ္းဖက္မႈ အတြင္း၌ ေသေၾကဒဏ္ရာ ရရွိမႈမ်ားႏွင့္ ဥစၥာပစၥည္း ပ်က္စီးမႈမ်ားကို ခံစားခဲ့ရသည္ ဘုရား။

Both Muslims and Buddhists communities suffered casualties and property damages during senseless violence.

လြန္ခဲ့သည့္ႏွစ္က ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ အေနာက္ပိုင္းတြင္ ဘဂၤလီ မူစလင္ အမ်ိဳးသား တစ္စုက ဗုဒၶဘာသာ မိန္းကေလး တစ္ဦးအား အုပ္စုလိုက္ မတရား သားမယားျပဳက်င့္ျပီး သတ္ျဖတ္ပစ္ခဲ့ျခင္းျဖင့္ အၾကမ္းဖက္မႈ စတင္ခဲ့ပါသည္ ဘုရား။ (လူ႕အခြင့္အေရး လႈပ္ရွားတက္ၾကြသူမ်ား၊ ေရွ႕ေနမ်ား၊ သမိုင္းပညာရွင္မ်ားႏွင့္ အစၥလာမ္၊ ခရစ္ယာန္၊ ဟိႏၵဴႏွင့္ ဗုဒၶဘာသာ၀င္မ်ား အပါအ၀င္ ဘာသာေရးေခါင္းေဆာင္မ်ား ပါ၀င္သည့္) လြတ္လပ္ေသာ စံုစမ္းစစ္ေဆးေရး ေကာ္မရွင္က စုစုေပါင္း (၃၄၇)ဦး ေသဆံုးခဲ့ျပီး (၄၁၁)ဦး ဒဏ္ရာရရွိ ခဲ့ေၾကာင္း ႏွစ္ဖက္စလံုးမွ သတင္းပို႕သည့္အတုိင္း တင္ျပအစီရင္ခံခဲ့ပါသည္ ဘုရား။ ေသေၾကဒဏ္ရာ ရရွိသူမ်ားအနက္ ၆၀%မွာ မူစလင္မ်ားျဖစ္ျပီး ၄၀%မွာ ဗုဒၶဘာသာ၀င္မ်ားျဖစ္ပါသည္ ဘုရား။ (ေသေၾကဒဏ္ရာရရွိသူမ်ား အခ်ိဳးအစားႏွင့္ အလားတူစြာ) အိမ္ေပါင္း ၇၇၀၀ ေက်ာ္ ပ်က္စီးခဲ့ရပါသည္ ဘုရား။ ထို႕အျပင္ ဗုဒၶဘာသာ ဘုန္းေတာ္ၾကီးေက်ာင္း (၂၄)ေက်ာင္းႏွင့္ ဗလီ (၃၂)လံုးတို႕ကို ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ အေနာက္ပိုင္းတြင္ လူအုပ္မ်ားက ဖ်က္ဆီးခဲ့ၾကပါသည္ ဘုရား။

Last year, violence in Western Burma started with a Buddhist girl was gang raped& killed by a group of Bengali Muslim men.The Independent Investigation Commission (consists of human right activists, lawyers, historians and religious leaders including Islam, Christian, Hindu and Buddhist) reported that total 347 were killed and 411 were injured as reported by both sides. 60% of causalities were Muslims and 40% were Buddhists. Over 7,700 houses were destroyed (similar ratio as causalities). Furthermore, 24 Buddhist Monasteries and 32 Mosques were destroyed by mobs in Western Burma.

ေရႊဆိုင္တစ္ဆိုင္၌ ဆိုင္ရွင္ႏွင့္ ေရႊလာေရာင္းသူတို႕အၾကား အျငင္းပြားမႈျဖစ္ပြားျပီး ျမန္မာဗုဒၶဘာသာ ဇနီးေမာင္ႏွံကို ဘဂၤလီလူမ်ိဳး မူစလင္ ဆိုင္ပိုင္ရွင္ႏွင့္ ဆိုင္၀န္ထမ္းတို႕က ကိုယ္ထိလက္ေရာက္ ေစာ္ကား တိုက္ခုိက္မႈေၾကာင့္ ျဖစ္ပြားလာေသာ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံအလယ္ပိုင္း မိတၳိလာျမိဳ႕မွ ေနာက္ဆံုး အၾကမ္းဖက္မႈ ကို ေနာက္ပိုင္းတြင္ ဗလီတစ္ခုအတြင္း၌ မူစလင္လူအုပ္က ဗုဒၶဘာသာ ရဟန္းေတာ္ တစ္ပါးအား ရက္စက္စြာ သတ္ျဖတ္ျခင္းက အရွိန္ျမင့္တက္လာေအာင္ ျဖစ္ေစခဲ့ပါသည္ ဘုရား။

Latest violence in Central Burma town of Meikthila started with an argument at Gold Shop owner & seller and physical assault to Burmese Buddhist couple by Bengali Muslim owners & staff; later fuelled by a brutal killing of a Buddhist Monk by Muslim mob inside a mosque.

ဗုဒၶဘာသာ ရဟန္းမ်ားသည္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ အလယ္ပိုင္းႏွင့္ အေနာက္ပိုင္းမွ အၾကမ္းဖက္မႈမ်ားတြင္ အသက္ေဘး ဒုကၡခံစားရသူမ်ား အထဲတြင္ ပါ၀င္ေနေသာ္လည္း မူစလင္ ဘာသာေရးေခါင္းေဆာင္ တစ္ဦးတစ္ေယာက္မွ် လူ႕အသိုက္အ၀န္းတို႕အၾကား အၾကမ္းဖက္မႈအတြင္းတြင္ ထိခိုက္ရမႈ မရွိသည္ကို သတိျပဳေတာ္မူပါ ဘုရား။ တပည့္ေတာ္သည္ အရွင္ဘုရား ေလ့လာၾကည့္ႏိုင္ရန္ ႏွင့္ စဥ္းစားေတာ္မူႏိုင္ရန္ အတြက္ မၾကာေသးမီက ျဖစ္ပ်က္မႈမ်ားမွ ဓာတ္ပံုအခ်ိဳ႕ကို ပို႕ေပးလိုက္ပါသည္ ဘုရား။

Please note that although Buddhist monks were among victims of the violence in central & western Burma, none of Muslim religious leaders were hurt during communal violence. I am forwarding a few photos from recent incidents for your info and consideration.

စင္စစ္တြင္ မူစလင္ဆန္႕က်င္ေရး ဘုန္းၾကီးဟု ေခၚဆိုျခင္းခံေနရေသာ ဦး၀ီရသူ အပါအ၀င္ ဦးေဆာင္ ဦးရြက္ ျပဳသည့္ ျမန္မာ ဗုဒၶဘာသာ ရဟန္းေတာ္မ်ားႏွင့္ ျမန္မာဗုဒၶဘာသာ ေဒသခံမ်ားသည္ မူစလင္မ်ားကို ကာကြယ္ေပးခဲ့ၾကျပီး လက္နက္ကိုင္ လူအုပ္မ်ားအတြင္း ပိတ္မိေနေသာ မူစလင္ ရာေပါင္းမ်ားစြာအား ကယ္ထုတ္ျခင္းကိုပင္ ျပဳခဲ့ၾကပါသည္ဘုရား။ သူတို႕သည္ မူစလင္မ်ားကို ေဘးလြတ္ရာသို႕ ကယ္ဆယ္ ေခၚေဆာင္လာၾကျပီးလွ်င္ ယေန႕တိုင္ေအာင္ အစာေရစာ ေထာက္ပံ့မႈမ်ား ျပဳလွ်က္ ရွိပါသည္ဘုရား။ အခ်ိဳ႕ေသာ မူစလင္မ်ားကို ဗုဒၶဘာသာ ဘုန္းေတာ္ၾကီးေက်ာင္းမ်ား၌ ခိုလႈံခြင့္ကိုပင္ ေပးထားပါသည္ဘုရား။ ဗုဒၶဘာသာ ရဟန္းေတာ္မ်ားသည္ (ရန္ကုန္ျမိဳ႕အနီးရွိ) ဥကၠံျမိဳ႕တြင္ ေနာက္ဆံုးေပၚေပါက္လာသည့္ မူစလင္ ေဘးဒုကၡခံစားရသူမ်ားကို အစားအစာႏွင့္ အျခား အေထာက္အကူမ်ား ေပးလွ်က္ရွိျပီး အခ်ိဳ႕ကို ဗုဒၶဘာသာ ဘုန္းေတာ္ၾကီးေက်ာင္း တစ္ေက်ာင္းတြင္ ခုိလႈံခြင့္ေပးလွ်က္ ဗုဒၶဘာသာ ရဟန္းေတာ္မ်ားက ကာကြယ္ ေစာင့္ေရွာက္ေနၾကပါသည္ ဘုရား။

In fact, leading Burmese Buddhist monks including so called anti-Muslim monk U Withura and local Burmese Buddhist residents protected Muslims, they even rescued several hundred Muslims trapped by armed mobs. They brought rescued Muslims to safety and providing the food & water until today. Some Muslims were even provided shelters at the Buddhist Monasteries. Buddhist Monks are providing food and other assistance to latest Muslim victims in Okkan (near Rangoon); some were sheltered in a Buddhist monastery and protected by Buddhist monks.

တိုင္းရင္းသား ဗုဒၶဘာသာ၀င္ လူမ်ိဳးမ်ားသည္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ အေနာက္ပိုင္းတြင္ ႏွစ္ေပါင္း ေထာင္ေပါင္းမ်ားစြာ ၾကာေအာင္ ေနထိုင္လွ်က္ရွိေနၾကရာ အမ်ားအျပားမွာ ကံမေကာင္း အေၾကာင္းမလွစြာျဖင့္ သူတို႕၏ ကိုယ္ပိုင္ ဇာတိေျမတြင္ က်ဴးေက်ာ္၀င္ေရာက္လာေသာ ဘဂၤလီလူမ်ိဳး မူစလင္မ်ားေၾကာင့္ (တိဗက္ေျမတြင္ တိဗက္လူမ်ိဳး ဗုဒၶဘာသာ၀င္မ်ားႏွင့္ တရုတ္ ကြန္ျမဴနစ္မ်ား ကဲ့သို႕ အလားတူ အေနအထား မ်ိဳးျဖင့္) ေဘးဒုကၡ ၾကံဳေတြ႕ ခံစားရသူမ်ား ျဖစ္လွ်က္ ရွိေနၾကပါသည္ ဘုရား။ ယခုအခါတြင္ ရိုဟင္ဂ်ာမ်ားဟု ဆိုၾကေသာ ဘဂၤလီ မူစလင္မ်ားသည္ (ဘဂၤလားေဒ့ရွ္ႏိုင္ငံႏွင့္ နယ္ခ်င္းစပ္ေနသည့္) ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ အေနာက္ပိုင္း ျမိဳ႕နယ္မ်ားတြင္ လူဦးေရ၏ ၉၅% ရွိေနျပီး မူရင္းေဒသခံ ဗုဒၶဘာသာ၀င္မ်ားမွာ ယခုအခါ စုစုေပါင္း လူဦးေရ၏ ၅%ထက္ နည္းပါးလွ်က္ ရွိေနပါသည္ ဘုရား။

Indigenous Buddhists ethnic people are living in the Western Burma for thousands of years, unfortunately many were victims at their own home land by invading Bengali Muslims (similar to Tibetan Buddhists and Chinese Communists in Tibet land). Now, Bengali Muslims so called Rohingya represents 95% of the population in Western Burma townships (border with Bangladesh); native Buddhists are now less than 5% of the total population.

တပည့္ေတာ္တို႕သည္ အရွင္ဘုရား၏ ျမန္မာ ဗုဒၶဘာသာ ရဟန္းေတာ္မ်ားအား ဆန္႕က်င္ေသာ မွတ္ခ်က္ စကားမ်ားသည္ မွန္ကန္မႈမရွိဘဲ မွ်တမႈကင္းမဲ့ကာ အေၾကာင္းယုတၱိမခိုင္မာေၾကာင္း ေတြ႕ရွိရပါသည္ ဘုရား။ တပည့္ေတာ္တို႕သည္ ဘုန္းေတာ္ၾကီးမားေတာ္မူေသာ အရွင္ဘုရား ကိုယ္တိုင္ထံမွ ထိုသို႕ေသာ မွန္ကန္မႈ မရွိသည့္ သတင္းမ်ားႏွင့္ မွတ္ခ်က္စကားမ်ား ထြက္လာသည္ကို ဖတ္ရႈရျခင္းေၾကာင့္ အလြန္အမင္း ၀မ္းနည္း နာၾကင္ရပါသည္ ဘုရား။

We found that your comments against Burmese Buddhist Monks are incorrect, unfair and unjust. We are very sad and painful to read those incorrect news and comments especially from the His Holiness.

ျမန္မာ ဗုဒၶဘာသာ ရဟန္းေတာ္မ်ားအား ရႈံခ်ျပစ္တင္ထားသည့္ အရွင္ဘုရား၏ မွတ္ခ်က္စကားမ်ား ကို ျပန္လည္ရုပ္သိမ္းေတာ္ မူေပးပါရန္ တပည့္ေတာ္တို႕က တေလးတစား ေမတၱာရပ္ခံအပ္ပါသည္ ဘုရား။

We respectfully would like to request you to withdraw your comments on denouncing the Burmese Buddhist Monks.
